In August 2009, the Simcoe County Branch initiated a “Members Only” web site, hosted on the OGS main site.

To view the material that has been posted:
  1. Go to the Ontario Genealogical Society Home Page (
  2. Click on the “Members Only” tab near the upper right corner of the page, then select and click on “sign in” from the drop down menu.
  3. Enter your email address, password, and then press the sign in button.
    If you do not know your password, use the links to have a new one sent to you.
  4. Once you are signed in, return to the “Members Only” tab and select the “Branch Member Sites” from the drop down menu.
  5. Use the scroll bar on the right side to find the link to the Simcoe County site.
    Please note, a green checkmark will appear if you are a current branch member.
  6. Click on “click here” to access the Simcoe County Members Only site.
  7. From here you may click on whatever page is of interest to you.
  8. When you are finished, please return to the main OGS site to log out.
