In time to help us remember, today the Simcoe County Archives launched a new database. The Simcoe County Remembers database is a a fully searchable database memorializing the service men and women from Simcoe County, who perished during the First World War.

Information has been obtained from many sources, but as with all things, additions or corrections may be needed. The Archives ask you to contact them at 705-726-9331 or archives@simcoe.ca if you have any information to contribute to this project.

I have a grandmother who came from Strathroy to work in a Millinery shop in
Stouffville. In 1905, I did find two possibilities. But am asking if there are documents available at a library or museum. Her name was Minnie Bishopp.
