Since the advent of the World Wide Web, interest in genealogy and family history research has grown tremendously. In 2005, the Simcoe County Branch, OGS created a web site of our own.
The Web Site project:
- helps promote the Branch to those doing research in Simcoe County and beyond
- keeps our members informed on current events within the Branch
- makes some of our resources available to a greater number of researchers through online databases and listings of Branch publications
- provides an area for members to share their interests with a greater number of researchers
