They will be held at the Barrie and District Realtors Association Facility, 676 Veterans Drive, Barrie, Ontario. - Introduction to Genealogy – Thursday, April 9, 2026 from 1 to 4 pm
This workshop is geared for the beginner, those new to genealogy. It touches on genealogy basics: getting started, genealogical standards, getting organized, and basic sources of information you will need to start your family history project with a focus in Ontario. - Intermediate Genealogy – Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 1 to 4 pm
This workshop is geared for those who have started their family history project, but need help moving their research forward. Topics covered will include: Planning your research goals, using the Family Search catalogue and Onland.ca to navigate some lesser understood sources for research in Ontario. - Advanced Genealogy – Thursday, May 7, 2026 from 1 to 4 pm
This workshop is geared to a more advanced level, but can benefit anyone. Topics covered will include: breaking down brick walls, DNA, and putting it all together, documenting your findings.
